KRISTINA AND NATE | ESCALANTE | UTAH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Nathan and Kris live in the small town of Escalante, UT, which is in the middle of nowhere in

central southern Utah. It is however right in the middle of some beautiful national monuments and high desert mountains.

Kris is a farm girl from Idaho Falls moved down to Escalante a few years ago to work for the Bureau of Land Management and that’s

where she met Nate whose family owns the Escalante Outfitters (HTTP://WWW.ESCALANTEOUTFITTERS.COM/) a sportsman outfitters and guide

shop in town. Nate is a local backpacking and fly fishing guide. Needless to say, when these two outdoorsy people decided to get married,

it had to be done somewhere in the mountains!

The wedding is a complete DIY job from the food, to the decor, down to the brides dress which was purchased at David’s Bridal but then completely

changed to a design the bride had in mind.  Nate even built Kris a bridal tent in the mountains where she could get ready and where they stayed their first night as a married couple. The whole event was very personal.

I loved every second of this wedding!
